These Terms apply to purchases made through wicreset.pro. Please read the product description, compatibility information and the final order summary before paying. Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over these Terms.
1. Seller and scope
The seller and website operator is WICRESET.PL Mariusz Nowak, a sole trader registered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), NIP (tax ID) 9131453876, REGON 384284818, ul. Kolejowa 15c, 55-300 Środa Śląska, Poland.
Contact: wicreset@wicreset.pro or +48 731 940 656. You can send complaints and withdrawal notices by email or post. We communicate about orders by email to the address supplied at checkout.
“Consumer” means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession. Where Polish law extends specified consumer protections to a sole trader whose purchase is not professional in nature, those protections apply accordingly. “Customer” also includes business purchasers.
Using the online store
Browsing the store is free and does not require an account. An account, if offered, is free and enables access to the functions shown during registration, such as order history. It is created when registration is completed and may be closed at any time by emailing us. Closing an account does not cancel an existing order or prevent retention of records required by law. Guest checkout is available only if offered in the checkout flow.
To use the website you need an Internet connection, a current browser capable of displaying the site, and an email address for orders. Cookies and JavaScript may be necessary for the basket and checkout; choices about non-essential cookies are handled separately. Do not submit unlawful content or interfere with the website or other users. You can save or print these Terms at any time. Complaints about free website or account functions may be sent using the contact details above.
2. Digital products and compatibility
WICRESET.PRO is independently developed software for reading and, for supported models and functions, resetting printer waste-ink counters. Products sold through the store are electronic activation keys or packages of reset rights. No physical goods are shipped. The software may be downloaded separately from the official WICRESET.PRO website.
The product page and order summary specify whether the purchase consists of separate single-use keys or one Multi-Key, the number of reset rights, the available functions and the supported technical environment. Purchased keys do not expire merely with the passage of time. A single key is intended for one successful reset of a supported printer. The applicable rules for using and decrementing a Multi-Key are those disclosed with that product before purchase. A failed or disputed reset can be reported under section 6.
Supported printer models, operating systems, connection methods, Internet requirements and any other technical prerequisites are stated in the current product and download information. These vary by platform and feature. Please use the available model check and diagnostic functions before ordering. Descriptions of planned features do not mean they are currently available. Compatibility information and mandatory rights concerning conformity remain the seller’s responsibility.
Payment grants the right to use the purchased key and the corresponding reset function for the purchased number of uses, subject to the product description and applicable law. It does not transfer ownership of the software, its source code or third-party trademarks. Restrictions on copying or modifying the software do not limit mandatory statutory software-use rights.
Epson, Canon and other manufacturer names or model designations identify compatible equipment. WICRESET.PRO is independent of, and is not endorsed by, those manufacturers.
3. Orders, prices and payment
To place an order, select a product and quantity, provide the information needed for electronic delivery and billing, review the order summary and these Terms, then use the checkout control that clearly states the obligation to pay. Before that final step, you can correct your details and order selection. An order receipt is sent to the email address provided. The contract is concluded when we accept the order by email; the order confirmation records its content on a durable medium.
The final price, currency, applicable tax and any additional charges are shown before the order is submitted. Prices presented to consumers include applicable VAT where required. A price expressly described as “net” for business customers excludes any VAT that must be added. The amount payable is the amount displayed in the final checkout summary; a VAT number alone does not change that amount. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. There is no physical delivery charge for keys.
Purchases are one-off transactions unless a product description expressly states otherwise. We will not add a subscription or recurring charge without clear pre-contract information and your separate order for it.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact you promptly and return any payment due under applicable law. We may refuse an order for a legitimate reason, including an obvious pricing error, but we will not treat the order as accepted or keep payment for an undelivered product.
4. Electronic delivery
Keys are sent automatically immediately after payment for the order is confirmed or, in exceptional circumstances, within 24 hours of that confirmation. We send them by email to the address given at checkout and, where available, also show them in the order details. The final checkout will show any specific delivery time before purchase. Please check the address entered and your spam folder. If a key does not arrive within the stated time, contact wicreset@wicreset.pro with the order number so that we can supply it or apply the remedies required by law.
The key or means of access is supplied when made available to you or to a device you have chosen for that purpose. We will send the contract confirmation, including any consent to immediate supply and acknowledgment about withdrawal, by email on a durable medium.
5. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer normally has 14 days from the conclusion of a distance contract to withdraw from a purchase of digital content supplied without a physical medium. For keys delivered immediately after payment, the exception in Article 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act applies only after the legal conditions below have been met.
Before delivery begins, you must give express consent to supply during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose the statutory withdrawal right after we have fulfilled delivery. We must also send you confirmation of the contract and your consent on a durable medium, such as email, no later than delivery. The checkout asks for this consent in a separate, unticked checkbox. Once the ordered key or keys have been delivered in full under these conditions, the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies to that digital content. This does not affect your rights if the key is missing, invalid or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
If any of those conditions has not been met, or the digital content has not yet been supplied, the statutory withdrawal right may still apply. In that case, send a clear statement to wicreset@wicreset.pro or the postal address in section 1 before the period expires; no special form is required. We will acknowledge an emailed withdrawal notice without undue delay.
Where withdrawal is valid, we refund the relevant payment without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method that costs you nothing. After withdrawal, you must stop using the digital content and any supplied key to the extent required by law. Nothing in this section limits remedies for non-conforming digital content or digital services.
6. Conformity, updates and complaints
We must supply digital content or services in conformity with the contract, including the agreed functions, compatibility and information provided before purchase. We provide updates, including security updates, where and for as long as required by applicable law. Mandatory rights are not excluded by a compatibility check, successful activation, key use or any description of the software as a technical utility.
If a key does not work as promised, a reset fails, delivery is missing, or the product otherwise lacks conformity, contact wicreset@wicreset.pro or write to the postal address in section 1. Please provide your order number, printer model, platform, a description of the issue and, if available, the error message. These details help us investigate but their absence does not remove statutory rights. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may require supply or restoration of conformity, a price reduction, or termination of the contract and a refund. Where a one-time supply is involved, Polish consumer law generally makes the seller responsible for lack of conformity revealed within two years of supply; rules for continuous supply differ. We will respond to a consumer complaint within 14 days of receiving it, on paper or another durable medium. Statutory consequences of failing to reply in time apply.
Optional commercial support, if offered, is separate from and does not replace statutory remedies. Business purchasers also retain rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Safe use and printer maintenance
A counter reset changes an electronic reading. It does not empty, clean or replace a physical waste-ink absorber or maintenance box. Before resetting, inspect the printer and follow the manufacturer’s service and safety guidance. A saturated absorber can leak ink or damage equipment. If you are unsure about physical maintenance, use a qualified technician. Where a printer uses a chip on its maintenance unit, check the product-specific instructions; a counter reset may not replace service of that unit.
Do not disconnect the printer or interrupt power during a procedure unless the software instructs you to do so. Follow the instructions for the exact model and feature. Report a suspected product safety incident to wicreset@wicreset.pro. These precautions do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded under consumer or product-safety law.
8. Personal data and printer data
The seller is the controller of personal data processed for store orders, customer support and the reset service. Purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and your rights are described in our Privacy Policy. Privacy inquiries can be sent to wicreset@wicreset.pro.
The software may communicate with a printer and an online key-validation service. Before a product to which the EU Data Act applies is sold, any required information about data generated through the connected product or related service, access to that data and permitted uses must be provided in a separate product-data notice. These Terms do not waive any data-access rights available under applicable law.
9. Disputes, applicable law and changes
Please first contact us using section 1 so that we can try to resolve a problem directly. Consumers may obtain help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman, the Polish Trade Inspection or a European Consumer Centre for cross-border matters. Information about available EU consumer dispute-resolution bodies is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies. If we reject a consumer complaint, we will provide the information about applicable alternative dispute resolution required by law.
Polish law governs these Terms. This choice does not deprive a consumer habitually resident in another country of mandatory protections of that country that apply under conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory jurisdiction rules for consumers are unaffected.
We may update these Terms for future orders. The version presented when an order is placed applies to that order unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If any provision is ineffective, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
